Location

Samhain is one of the most important spiritual events of the year.

Right on the tail of Hallowe'en and heralding the beginning of winter, it is a traditional day to honour one's ancestors, and reflect on the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

For this Paranormal Festival, Kindred Spirit Investigations are bringing together 10 Celebrity/Special Guest speakers, over 20 workshops, stalls, and celebrity book signings on the paranormal, wiccan and spiritual realms to keep you captivated and informed!

Our events will continue with activities into the evening with a Masquerade Ball on the 1st November followed by an Evening of Mediumship on the 2nd November. With a variety of activities on offer, different ticket options will be available (see ticket section) so that you pay for the things that you want to access. Tickets will be released in a phased manner so ensure that you keep an eye on what is on offer and snap up your tickets if you want to attend.

Kindred Spirit Investigations brings you a range of leaders in the field of paranormal and spirituality, to lead one-hour workshops and discussions on their chosen topic. Later many of these celebrities will be doing book signings also in the library following their workshop.

Barrie John

Barrie John
International Medium (The Multi Award Winning TV Psychic Medium/ Paranormal Investigator/ Presenter/ Broadcaster/ Professional Public Speaker/ Columnist)

Barrie John is a multi-award-winning Psychic, TV Medium, Presenter, Broadcaster, Speaker, Paranormal Investigator and Columnist with over 40 years' experience working within the public eye.

Barrie has extensive experience in International Television and Radio. He is a professional toastmaster and an accomplished public speaker who is often invited to host evenings with his amusing spooky experiences as well as to demonstrate his abilities of mediumship.

Barrie has appeared on regular slots with the BBC, ITV's This Morning and Channel 5's Live With Gabby and The Wright Stuff, following his role on Living TV'S Most Haunted in 2008. He has also worked alongside Sky TV with investigations into the Moor Murders as well as completing the series of Haunted Leeds with the Yorkshire Evening Post and with Jack Osbourne on the New Fright Club Series. Along with being a regular Psychic and Host/Presenter on Psychic Today TV, which is supported by Sky TV since May 2019, hosting and presenting the show along with giving Psychic readings and Connections.

He has experience of working with the Police both nationally and internationally, most recently with Australian Police to investigate unsolved murder and missing victim cases.

Over the years Barrie has hosted and been the guest medium for in excess of 5,000 Paranormal Ghost Hunts, as well as public demonstrations and workshops. He is still working hard to ensure that the guests enjoy the events, which are filled with humour and proof of life after death information and evidence.

Barrie was up until recently a presenter for national radio – Presenting his morning chat show of Psychic and Mediumistic experiences along with public question and answers and his favourite music collections. Barrie works with Clairvoyance & Mediumship, Psychic, Tarot Cards, Angel Cards, Ribbons and other ‘tools of the trade' for communication purposes.

He started his interest in the unexplained whilst he was younger having a very personal experience of his own. In 2014 Jay created a public page documenting all UFO and UAP phenomena. His research has taken him to many locations and allowed him to come to some interesting conclusions. Jay has appeared in several events showcasing the unexplained and enthrals guests with his descriptions of experiences and predictions for the future.

Andy Guy

Andy Guy has been researching the paranormal for 35 years and actively conducting field observations since 2011 with a team called Southern Ghost Society. With an initial electrical engineering background working for a large computer manufacturer and subsequent career change to project management in the finance, energy & defence fields, Andy has developed a wide range of technical skills to support his research programs into the environmental impact of supernatural events. Using results from datalogging the environment and investigation variables, Andy now designs and produces equipment through the trading name SCIRE, with a goal to sharing his findings with as much of the paranormal community as possible to help develop further insights and discoveries.

He has written numerous books on topics ranging from haunted locations to the history of supernatural phenomena, often incorporating firsthand accounts and local legends. In addition to his writing, Storey is a frequent speaker and expert on paranormal television programs, where he brings a scholarly yet captivating perspective to discussions of ghostly encounters and unexplained events. Gemma & Michael (Junior Paranormal / Haunted Magazine Author / Spooky Isles)

Junior Paranormal Events was founded by Gemma and Michael in 2021. Together with their team, which is made up of adults and juniors, they have pioneered the way for junior paranormal investigations for children and young adults. They offer opportunities to investigate the paranormal in a safe and responsible manner, putting paranormal education at the heart of everything that they do.

The team consists of adults who are qualified teachers and have extensive experience working with children and young people. Several members of the team have backgrounds in child mental health and Special Educational Needs.

Gemma is a writer being a regular contributor to Haunted Magazine - a globally successful publication reaching as far as Australia, Canada and America. Gemma is also a regular contributor to Spooky Isles and has recently begun working with Nerdy Up North. In 2024, Gemma wrote and Co-directed an original audio drama 'Margo's Story' with Alternative Stories and Fake Realities Podcast, an award-winning podcast provider. The audio drama was streamed worldwide and works are currently underway for the second part of the story, it is designed for children and young people with a cast of young people.

Junior Paranormal Events is a family focused group which has been created by children and young people, for children and young people. They provide high quality, engaging and safe investigations across the country and ensure that their ticket prices are both affordable and accessible to all.

In 2024, Junior Paranormal Events joined forces with Haunted Happenings to form an incredible partnership, enhancing the paranormal opportunities available to children and young people.

The team features Leaders - Jade, Sarah, Vicky and Lucy, Boo Crew Support - Finlay, Sarah and Olivia along with Junior Ambassadors Alfie, Aubrey, Rosie, Harrison and Maddie. Junior Paranormal Events take great pride in the Junior Ambassadors who are all young people that set a good example on events, help to source and test new venues as well as contributing to podcast interviews, filming and social media. The Junior Ambassadors also join Gemma and Michael at public speaking events and are this year booked to appear at several paranormal conferences across the UK.

Following the path of a pagan Hedge witch Claire will be offering a rare opportunity to delve into the world of Cleromancy and Osteomancy. She will be discussing the origins of this ancient form of divination, her pagan path as a Hedge Witch and how to start your own journey into Cleromancy and Osteomancy. The talk will also cover the ethics of offering readings for others.
